Marina Savova 

Piano

Born in Varna, Bulgaria, Marina Savova is an acclaimed pianist and accompanist. She studied at the National Music Academy “Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia and later received a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she specialized in Piano Accompaniment.

​

A multi-award-winning artist, she has performed as a soloist with the Varna Philharmonic Orchestra and has recorded for Bulgarian National Television, Bulgarian National Radio, and Radio Classic FM. Her collaborations with baritone Rodney Clarke have brought her to major UK venues such as Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Purcell Room, and St James’s Piccadilly, as well as international appearances at the Varna Summer International Music Festival and Portugal’s Festival Entre Quintas with Rodney Clarke and violinist Lilia Donkova.

The main focus of Marina’s artistic career is her work with Trio Libera and Foundation Libera, organizations devoted to chamber music, education, and cultural exchange between Bulgaria and Asia. Through these initiatives, she curates concerts, outreach programs, and cross-disciplinary projects that highlight the unifying power of music.

    Niels Dittmann

    Oboe

    Niels Dittmann is an internationally renowned oboist, celebrated for his exceptional artistry and dynamic performances. As Principal Oboist of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and a frequent guest with prestigious ensembles such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Niels has captivated audiences across the globe.

     

    A founding member of the award-winning Carion Woodwind Quintet, he is acclaimed for his innovative approach and technical brilliance, bringing fresh energy to stages worldwide. Trained by legendary oboists François Leleux and Bjørn Carl Nielsen, Niels has earned numerous accolades, including scholarships from the esteemed Leonie Sonnings Music Foundation.

     

    Beyond the stage, Niels is a passionate mentor, inspiring the next generation of oboists through masterclasses and coaching around the world. Whether performing solo, chamber, or orchestral repertoire, he blends precision, passion, and profound musicality—making him one of the most sought-after oboists of his generation.

     

    In recognition of his artistry and international impact, Niels has recently been appointed the first Margaux Artist in Southeast Asia—a well-deserved honor and an exciting new chapter in his remarkable journey.

      Alexander Lenkov

      Bassoon

      Alexander Lenkov has been the Solo Bassoonist of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra since 2004. As a Mönnig Artist, he represents the renowned German bassoon manufacturer Mönnig, known for its craftsmanship and tradition.

      ​

      Throughout his career, Alexander has performed under the baton of distinguished conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Kees Bakels, Vladimir Ashkenazy, and Jaap van Zweden, collaborating with celebrated soloists including Joshua Bell, Sumi Jo, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Janine Jansen, and many others.

      ​

      He completed his musical education at the prestigious Universities of Weimar and Cologne under Professor Georg Klütsch. During his studies, he toured extensively with the Cologne Chamber Orchestra across Germany and Europe, performing in major concert halls and international festivals.

      ​

      In addition to his orchestral work, Alexander is an active chamber musician and educator. He teaches bassoon in Malaysia, regularly participating in chamber music projects, festivals, and outreach programs, where he shares his expertise and passion for the instrument with younger generations of musicians.
